The Sporting Ambition Foundation has been set up by co-founders of Palatinate Group and the Albatross Club — spanning brands including Your Golf Travel, Racingbreaks, Out Of Office, Premier Golf, Do Not Disturb and Spabreaks.com — to help children and young people in the UK through the medium of sport.
The founders realised the power of sport in their own lives as young men and have always wanted to extend this opportunity to help others — whether through golf, rugby, cricket, boxing, football, hockey, or beyond.

The foundation supports a wide variety of new and existing sporting initiatives in underprivileged communities that promote the emotional, mental and physical well-being and development of young people across the country.
Grants and support are directed toward initiatives that open doors to coaching, facilities and mentorship.
Advancing participation in sport at schools and colleges, with access to facilities, equipment and qualified coaching.
Promoting recreation and leisure-time activity for young people who need it most, improving conditions of life through sport.
Enabling access to sporting mentors, coaches and instructors who can inspire lasting confidence and ambition.
The foundation will be arranging a variety of high-profile fundraising events in the near future, bringing the network of Your Travel Group and Albatross Club brands together behind youth sport.
Information on grant-making policies and guidelines will be made available shortly for organisations and community groups seeking support.
